Good:

Most stainless steel rice cookers aren't fully stainless steel. They are only stainless steel on the outside for aesthetics, and they have a normal non-stick teflon coated aluminum pot inside. However I am happy to report that this Oyama rice cooker has a stainless steel pot as well. You don't have to worry about only using plastic utensils to dig out the rice.

This also comes with a steamer 'basket' (I'm not sure what to really call it), that you can use to steam fish, dim sum, or anything else; so you can cook other stuff besides rice.

With only one button and two modes (cook & warm), this is really simple to use.

Bad:

There's a reason almost every rice cooker in the world has a teflon coated non-stick pot. Some rice will stick to the bottom of the pot. However, I did not experience any burned rice as other reviewers have experienced.

Unlike the really fancy Japanese rice cookers from Zojirushi, this doesn't have computer or million other cool settings that the high tech rice cookers have. Most people don't use those features anyway so it's not much of a loss.

Verdict:

If you don't like teflon or any other non-stick coating, and you want to steam other things besides rice, this is the appliance for you.

I've had this for a few months now and it's done a great job cooking both white and brown rice. I've found it easy to clean and haven't had any problems with excessive sticking. My only quibble is that you have to be careful when opening it after cooking since the plastic heats up from the steam.

After only 6 months and maybe 5 times being used, this air bed doesnt hold air any more to last through the night. Its basically useless if you cant sleep on it with out becoming a human airbed burrito in the middle of the night.

I purchased this air mattress because my parents were going to visit, and they found our full-sized Aerobed to be both too small, and too difficult to get out of. I have had a lot of experience with Aerobeds and was a bit nervous about purchasing another brand, but I wanted to get them the taller bed, and this one was much more affordable.

I'm writing this review after one visit, which means the bed has been used for two nights, by two people.

First of all, the process of inflating the bed was rather confusing. The pump comes with detailed and oddly worded instructions, but those instructions have nothing to do with the bed. In fact, reading the instructions proved a detriment since they were clearly written for a different product.

To inflate the bed, you have to inflate two chambers. I'm not sure if there's an optimal order in which to inflate them since the instructions were apparently for a couch with a very different valve system. One chamber is at the bottom, and seems to run around the outside of the bed. I'm guessing this is to stabilize the bed. The other chamber (much larger) is located above the first, and is the bed itself. I'm pretty sure I inflated them in both orders when I was setting the bed up, and I didn't notice a difference one way or the other.

To inflate the bed, you simply stick the "inflate" end of the pump into the appropriate valve and turn it on. I did this multiple times before using the bed...just in case the instructions were right about that part.

Now, to deflate the bed, all you have to do is open the valve cap, and stick your finger in, pushing a little flap aside. Seriously, that's it. The instructions have all kinds of nonsense about using the pump to deflate the bed (or rather, couch) but try as I might, I couldn't get that to work. Once I figured out I could deflate the bed without the pump, I was a much happier person.

My biggest concern about this taller bed was that it would be difficult to sleep on the edge. I had images of my poor parents being evicted from the bed, and falling two feet to the floor! To be sure, I tested the bed before they arrived, and it was surprisingly stable.

My parents were thrilled when they arrived (my mom thought she would have to sleep on the couch?!?) and even the next morning, they were happy with the bed.

Now, be aware that this bed has the same problems I've encountered with all air mattresses. Air mattresses are cold, no two ways around it. This air mattress has a fuzzy top to it, but that didn't help with the coldness of the mattress. (If you think about it, there's no way a bag of air is going to hold in warmth like a pile of foam.) We fixed this problem by spreading a sleeping bag over the bed, and under the bottom sheet for the second night of my parents' visit.

The bigger problem that all air mattresses encounter is that they deflate somewhat in the course of the night. I've never known an air mattress to retain all of its air over night, but still, I'm a bit concerned. I know in the past with Aerobeds, my parents have had to add air in little spurts in the middle of the night to keep the mattress firm. This would be extremely difficult to do with this bed since the pump is a completely separate entity. In order to add air over night, you would have to get out of bed, plug in the pump, open the valve, insert the pump and turn it on. And, heed the reviews that say the pump is loud, because it is! So, if this deflating problem gets worse, the bed will be far less useful.

Still, so far, my parents are very happy with the bed, and now that I've figured out how to use the pump (and deflate the bed without it) I'm happy too. I'll check back to let you know when/if it becomes unusable because of the overnight deflating.

Bought this air mattress mainly for camping but ended up using it on an overnight stay at a friends house. Was amazed on how big it gets. Was not impressed with the air pump since it's only usable if plugged into the wall (not very handy if you are camping). We will just have to buy another pump. Overall very impressed.

This shower head is awesome. No frills, just three great settings and excellent pressure. We, too, removed the black water restricter because it was causing water to bust out of the joint where the head met the shower. The rainfall setting is a bit weak for my taste, and the fine gauge will have you looking 10 years younger when you're done, so we have it set between the two. I only tried the massage setting once and it nearly blasted me through the back of the shower - powerful, that one - and would probably be great for someone with thick hair to rinse shampoo out of their hair in about 10 seconds flat. Highly recommend this shower head.

If you are seeking something that both easy for shaving and doing a great job, I will not recommend this product. This razor just doing a fair job. Comparing to the price, it is good. I use the 1160X to do wet shiving, it wonld not hurt my skin, but the job is not as clear as Gillette shaver. I would say, if you are looking for a electric razor which you could take it to travel and you do not care the tiny stubble, choose this one, otherwise, go back for traditional way.

An excellent shaver: holds a charge for 50 minutes according to the manual, but I wondered if it would ever run out. Quick recharge and we're ready again. Good notification lights for low-battery, charging, etc. Actually was looking for a less expensive shaver, but the Norelco model 7345 had only one notification light--when fully charged. When it ran out, you were out of luck, especially if in the middle of shave. So I opted to try this one and loved it. Bought it here on Amazon and saved over $40 anywhere else, including Norelco's web site.

This is an adorable camisole tutu. I ordered it for my skinny 4 year old. I was not happy when I received it, because it appears to be sized for a smaller toddler. You could probably put an average 2 year old in this. Now it is too late to exchange in time for Christmas delivery. Bummer. I have to run out to the local dance shop and pick up a replacement, which I am not looking forward to, given the current holiday shopping madness out there!

My son is 11 months old and is absolutely terrified of this toy. I had been looking for something new and there were limited toys for his age group. The fan is very loud as well as the music. He might be able to grow into it but I don't see it being much fun as he gets older. It sounds like alot of children love it, just be warned it may be a little too much for a younger child.
